I’ve been tossing around the idea for METAnovel for quite a long time, maybe a year or two, I’m not sure, and it’s been in development since April, so it’s very good to get this first version out there for you all to start working with. It was my plan to launch in mid-July so I’m very happy to be able to do that.
I’ll let you in on a little secret. METAnovel is currently only a team of two, and I’m the only developer working on it. What I’m trying to say is that if it looks bare for right now, just bear with us. The idea was to get the platform out and working first, then to work on anything that we deemed extra. That begins with you, and it begins with your use of the site. With that said, lots of things are coming down the pipeline once we get the ball rolling; we’ve got an abundance of ideas, and we’re always listening to yours. Any comments are welcome at support@metanovel.com.
There are only two of us, and we could use any help that you can give to spread the word about METAnovel. Tell your friends, post about it on web sites and on your blog. Anything is a huge help.
As far as this blog goes, we’ll post news here regarding the site in the future. Whether it be a heads up about a new feature we’re adding or even a behind the scenes of what is going on with us. So bookmark us and stay tuned.
